How do I set my clock?
Check to see that the power is in the OFF mode. Press and hold the MEM/CLK SET button until a blinking display that reads, "12 Hr," reveals itself. This is an option of whether or not you would like your clock to display the standard 12 hour clock or the 24 hour clock commonly used by the military. For example, 1:30 p.m. would read 13:30 and 8:45 p.m. would read 20:45. This is convenient because the designation "p.m." and "a.m." is unnecessary. Choose which mode you would prefer by pressing the TUNE/SKIP/SEARCH DN and TUNE/SKIP/SEARCH UP buttons. Once you have selected your hour mode of choice press the MEM/CLK SET button to select this mode. You will then need to set the hours place. Scroll up or down using the TUNE/SKIP/SEARCH DN and TUNE/SKIP/SEARCH UP buttons. Press the MEM/CLK SET to select the hours place. Then, repeat this step for the minutes place. Top

How do I connect my iLive player to my television?
There is a video output on the back of your iLive player. However, only on the iPod video model and the iPod photo model will you be able to use a composite video cable (yellow-tipped cable) to connect your iPod to your television. There is also a LINE OUT port which acts as a headphone jack or an output for stereo speakers. On the Photo iPods, go to Photos. Then, go to the Slideshow Settings. From there, scroll down and set the TV Out option to ON. Make sure that the Output Signal is set to NTSC as well. Go into your Photo Library and select the photos you wish to see on your television screen. This option is right below the TV Out option. On the Video iPods, proceed the same way as the Photo iPods to view your photographs. To view videos, go to Videos. Scroll down to and select Video Settings. From there, scroll down and set the TV Out option to ON. Make sure that the Output Signal is set to NTSC as well. You may want to turn the Widescreen option to Off if you do not have a widescreen television. Top

I have one of the new iPods (Nano 4th gen. or iTouch 2nd gen.).  Are these compatible with this unit?

The new iPods are compatible and will play on this unit but it won’t charge the iPod.  This is due to recent changes by Apple on new iPods after our unit was released.  The battery life on the new iPods is greatly improved requiring less frequent charging.  With this older version iLive unit you will need to charge your iPod via the computer using the provided USB cord.  Alternatively, you can purchase an AC adaptor we offer at special savings that will charge your iPod.  Call us at 314-621-2881 and press option 2 for the Parts Dept to order the optional AC adaptor.

I have one of the new iPods (Nano 4th gen., iTouch 2nd gen., or the Classic 120GB).  What bracket do I use?

    Use the following brackets for your iPod:  Nano 4th gen – #3, iTouch 2nd gen. – #4, Classic 120GB – #6
