I have one of the new iPods (Nano 4th gen., iTouch 2nd gen., or the Classic 120GB). Are these compatible with this unit and what docking insert do I use?
This unit has a universal well and all these new iPods are compatible. You should use the bracket that came with your new iPod. Or, if you prefer, you can substitute the black brackets included with the unit as follows: Nano 4th gen. - # 8, iTouch 2nd gen. – # 14, and Classic 120GB – #9.
How do I adjust the bass with my remote?
The IH818B subwoofer is capable of user bass adjustment, provided this system is not already in an EQ mode (rock, pop, classical). Once this system is placed into an EQ mode the remote will not adjust bass, because each preset EQ has a fixed bass output. Press the EQ button on the remote until the IH818 displays "NORMAL" you can then adjust the bass output from the remote.
